First Visit & Fees

We understand that many patients and families want a clearer idea of the process before committing to orthodontic treatment. Our goal is to make that first step simple, informative, and pressure-free.

What happens at the first visit?

Your initial assessment is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, examine your smile and bite, and understand whether orthodontic treatment is appropriate at this stage. Where treatment is recommended, we will explain the available options, likely timing, and the next steps clearly.

How are fees determined?

Orthodontic treatment fees vary depending on the complexity of the case, the type of appliance recommended, and the treatment goals involved. Because every patient’s needs are different, final fees are discussed after assessment and tailored to the recommended treatment plan.

We will always explain fees and payment arrangements clearly before treatment begins.

Already have recent orthodontic records?

If you have recently seen another orthodontist and already have photographs, X-rays, or scans, you are welcome to send them through for review. In many cases, we can provide a preliminary opinion and a broad guide to the likely fee range before your visit.

Any guidance provided at this stage is indicative only. Final treatment recommendations, timing, and exact fees can only be confirmed after our own clinical assessment.

Payment plans

Most families and adult patients choose to manage treatment through staged or periodic payment arrangements. These options are explained clearly at consultation so that treatment feels manageable and predictable.
